Integrity in Every Inch: Our Quality & Warranty Briefing

As a Veteran-owned business, we operate on a simple principle: The standard you walk past is the standard you accept. We don’t hide behind 20 pages of legalese. This page is your Field Manual. It outlines exactly what your cabinets are capable of, what the limits are, and how we handle equipment failure.

The All-Plywood Standard: Superiority in Material

We refuse to sell "disposable" cabinetry. While big-box retailers push particle board—which is essentially sawdust held together by hope and glue— Cabinetshowroom.com strictly provides All-Plywood Box Construction.

  • Durability: Plywood handles the structural load of heavy stone countertops better than any composite.
  • Moisture Resistance: Kitchens are "wet environments." Plywood resists swelling and "bloating" when exposed to the occasional spill or humidity spike.
  • Strength: Our cabinets are built to be installed once and last for decades.

"Straight Talk" on Natural Wood

Wood is a living, breathing material. It reacts to its environment. If you want a material that never moves, buy plastic. If you want the beauty of real wood, you must understand these three "Field Realities":

  • Painted Joint "Fractures": Wood moves; paint does not. On painted cabinets, you will eventually see hairline fractures at the joints of the doors (stiles and rails). This is a natural result of seasonal expansion and contraction. These are not defects; they are proof that your cabinets are made of real wood.
  • Mellowing (The Patina): Exposure to sunlight and oxygen will cause wood to "mellow" or change tone over time. Replacement doors may not perfectly match cabinets that have been in place for years. This is a natural aging process.
  • The 1/4" Acclimation Rule: If a door arrives with a warp of 1/4" or less, it must hang through one full season (Spring). It needs time to acclimate to your home's humidity. Most doors will self-correct once they reach equilibrium with your HVAC system.

What Isn't Covered (The Hard Truth)

Our warranties cover the replacement part only.

  • Beyond the Part: We provide the replacement component. Labor costs for removing the old part or installing the new one, and any shipping costs associated with the replacement, are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Environmental Damage: We do not cover damage from water leaks, steam from appliances (coffee makers or kettles) placed under upper cabinets, or any "field modifications" made during installation.
  • Pro-Tip: When using small appliances like coffee makers or kettles, always pull them forward so the steam clears the bottom of your upper cabinets. Excessive steam exposure is the #1 cause of preventable finish failure.

The 3-Step Claim SOP

If your gear fails to meet the mission standard, follow this protocol to initiate a claim. We act as your Liaison to the manufacturer to ensure they honor their commitment.

  • Identify: Provide your original Order Number.
  • Document: Send high-resolution photos and/or video of the defect. We need to see the "failed equipment" clearly to process the claim.
  • Engage: Contact our Liaison Team. We will take your intel, contact the manufacturer, and coordinate the delivery of your replacement parts.

Contractor Note: Job-Site Acclimation

To the Installation Lead: Do not install cabinets in a "wet" house. All drywall and flooring should be completely dry, and the HVAC system must be operational for at least 7 days prior to delivery.

Installing premium plywood cabinets into a high-humidity construction zone is a recipe for warped doors and joint fractures. Protect the gear by controlling the environment.
