About Our Cabinets: Quality and Materials
Are your cabinets made of solid wood?
We use solid hardwood for doors and face frames. For the cabinet boxes, we use furniture-grade plywood because it provides superior structural stability and resists warping from humidity.
Do your cabinets contain particleboard?
No, our cabinet boxes are constructed from high-quality, multi-ply plywood. This ensures they are strong enough to support heavy countertops like granite or quartz.
Do your cabinets come with soft-close doors and drawers?
Yes, soft-close hinges and drawer glides are a standard feature on all our cabinet lines. This premium feature prevents slamming and reduces wear and tear.
What kind of drawer construction do you use?
Our drawers use dovetail construction, a premium joinery technique where interlocking pins create an incredibly strong connection. Drawer boxes are made from solid wood.
Are your cabinet finishes durable?
Our cabinets feature multi-step finishes and oven-cured topcoats that resist scratches, moisture, and common household chemicals.
Do you offer European Frameless (Slab) door styles?
We offer frameless options that provide a minimalist look and up to 15% more accessible storage space than traditional framed styles.
How do your cabinets handle kitchen humidity?
Our plywood carcasses are dimensionally stable and highly resistant to warping, cracking, or splitting in fluctuating environments.
Are your cabinets resistant to kitchen humidity and spills?
Yes, the combination of furniture-grade plywood and high-quality finishes ensures your cabinets remain beautiful and functional even in high-use areas.
Are your cabinets CARB2 compliant?
Yes, all of our products meet or exceed CARB2 standards for air quality and formaldehyde emissions.
Choosing Your Cabinets: RTA vs. Pre-Assembled
What’s the difference between RTA and pre-assembled cabinets?
RTA (Ready-to-Assemble) cabinets ship flat-packed to save money. Pre-assembled cabinets arrive fully built by professionals and ready for immediate installation.
How difficult is it to assemble RTA cabinets?
They are designed for the average DIYer. Most customers find the process straightforward using basic tools like a screwdriver and a rubber mallet.
Can I order cabinets pre-assembled?
Absolutely. We offer pre-assembled options for select lines, where they are assembled to order so they arrive sturdy and ready to install.
Do I need to glue RTA cabinets during assembly?
While not strictly required by all systems, we recommend a small amount of wood glue at key joints for maximum long-term strength and rigidity.
What tools are required for RTA assembly?
You will typically need a screwdriver (or cordless drill), a rubber mallet, and wood glue.
Do you offer a warranty on your cabinets?
We stand behind our quality with a Limited Lifetime Warranty covering defects in material and workmanship under normal household use. Please visit our Warranty Page.
Do you offer professional installation services?
We are a product supplier and do not provide installation; however we partner with Sage Surfaces who can provide installation services throughout most of the United States. Visit out Installation Services Page for more information.
Shipping, Delivery & Returns
How long will it take to receive my order?
RTA cabinets typically leave the warehouse in 3-7 business days. Pre-assembled orders leave the warehouse in 5-10 business days to allow for professional construction. Expect an additional 2-5 days for shipping.
What should I expect on delivery day?
Orders arrive on a pallet or loose boxes via a freight carrier for "curbside" delivery. You will need to move individual boxes from the pallet into your home. Please reference our Shipping and Return Policy Page for more information.
What should I do if my cabinets arrive damaged?
Do not refuse delivery. Note visible damage on the delivery receipt, take photos, and contact us within 48 hours for free replacement parts. Please visit our Shipping and Return Policy Page for more information.
What is your return policy?
Returns must be authorized within 30 days and are subject to restocking fees. Items must be in original, unopened packaging; assembled cabinets cannot be returned. Please visit our Shipping and Return Policy Page for more information.
How do I track my order?
Once your order leaves our warehouse, you will receive a tracking number and the carrier’s contact information to coordinate delivery.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping is calculated based on order size and location. We often offer free shipping on orders that meet a specific dollar threshold. Please visit our Free Shipping Page for more information.
What if I live in a remote area with limited freight access?
Limited Access Freight is available for an additional charge. Limited access often requires additional transfers which are more expensive. This additional charge ($250-$500) ensures that we are able to coordinate the proper shipping solution so that your cabinets arrive on time and in good condition.
What happens if I ordered the wrong size cabinet?
If the box is unopened and unassembled, it can be returned per our policy, though you will be responsible for restocking fees and return shipping. Please visit our Shipping and Return Policy Page for more information.
